Dear colleagues, partners and friends!
A long chain of May holidays is
over, and we can, finally, turn back into an ordinary work regime, what we’re
happy to congratulate you with.
Traditionally, in the beginning
of the week we gather reports on tracks’
rotation on radio air. Today even those music editors, who suddenly made up their
mind to stay in Thailand or Bali, have to share real time statistical data;)
And our task is to count up these figures and publish
charts for two holiday weeks at once on Wednesday – from April 29 to May 5 and
from May 6 to May 12.
A great number of several startling hits await you and us
within the next few days – artists and their producers get actively prepared
for the summer tour season and place their hot hits on tophit.ru. Besides the
routine work with popular tracks and videos, we keep on speaking of the most
interesting things, which happened to us during the celebration of tophit.ru 10th
anniversary and Top Hit Music Awards Ceremony. You can track all the photo
reports, broadcasts and materials, connected with the jubilee events, in the section ‘History’ on tophit.ru.
From now on there’s a new section
next to it, called Top Hit Hall Of Fame.
And that is the way of events’ development in connection with opening of Hall
Of Fame: initially, we made up a long list of the Russian artists, composers
and producers, which brought up for voting on tophit.ru as well as in our
official groups in social networks – facebook.com and vk.com. According to the
results of these 3 voting groups, such celebrities as Aleksey Romanov, Dima Bilan, Eva Polna, Philipp Kirkorov, Mitya Fomin, Valery Meladze and Konstantin Meladze, Maksim Fadeev, the band A’Studio got certificates, proving their inclusion
into Top Hit Hall Of Fame. Dima Bilan
has also took the award that underlined producer Yury Aizenshis’ outstanding
contribution into music, and the certificates of Alla Pugachyova and Zemfira
will be delivered to the artists in the near future.
For sure, one can suddenly
wonder, why this or that artist is absent on the list. There’s a very simple
answer to the regular question – all those, whose contribution into music
industry should be marked in Top Hit Hall Of Fame, will be included soon or
late into it. Every year we’ll repeat the voting procedure on tophit.ru and
social networks to make up the next short list of nominees. And the decision
about the fact, who’ll join their colleagues in Hall Of Fame in 2014, 2015 and
further on, are to be made in a voting way by those, who are already in there!
We’ll see the outcome 9 months later – in the beginning of 2014.
The holders of Top Hit awards that night became: Elvira T (radio breakthrough) and her producers Irina Sherbinskaya and Denis Sattarov; Polina Gagarina got a prize for a loud turnback to radio air, and three artists at once – DJ Smash, Dominick Joker and Eva Polna – were awarded for an unparalleled growth in the quantity of their tracks rotation on radioair-2012. The awards went to 5sta Family and Diskoteka `Avaria` as well as the authors and producers for their songs `Vmeste my` and `Prognoz pogody`. But the most frequently rotated on air bands became Vintage (543.000 timeswithin 2012) and Gradusy (535.000 times within 2012). Top Hit Music awards were not presented to music collectives only but also their producers and hits’ authors – Aleksey Romanov, Roman Pashkov, Ruslan Tagiev, Oleg Nekrasov.
Eva Polna was marked as the author and performer of the most frequently requested by audience song - `Ya tebya tozhe net`. But Grigory Leps was announced as the best male singer on radioair-2012. Unfortunately, he did not take the stage for the cherished award because toured across Ukraine at that very time. Though Top Hit prize went to Lev Shapiro, the author of the song `Samy luchshy den` - Leps’ most popular hit in 2012.
The best female singers of 2012 became two artists at once – Nyusha and Elka. But even here Elka appeared to have no equal. Within 2012 her songs sounded over a million of times on radio air – the hit `Okolo tebya` became the most frequently rotated song (616.000 times), and the track `Provans` appeared to be the only “long-liver” of Top Hit Chart. `Provans` kept its positions on Top 100 of hits for 109 weeks and sounded over 910.000 (!) times on radio air since 2010 till 2012. Along with Elka the fruits were justly reaped by her producers – Alyona Mikhailova and Liana Meladze and, surely, the author the author of the hits `Okolo tebya` and `Provans` Egor Solodovnikov.
